Itinerary

Day 1 – 05th September: Nairobi – Amboseli

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our airport representative for a short safari briefing. Afterwards depart for Amboseli (approx. 4 hours). Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.

15:30 – 18:30: Afternoon game drive. Amboseli lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro (19,340 ft.) and close to the Tanzania border. The snowcapped peak dominates the landscape, providing an iconic backdrop to abundant wildlife including lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalo and plains game — a photographer’s paradise.

Distance: Nairobi – Amboseli: 250 km / 4 hours

Day 2 – 06th September: Amboseli

06:00: Breakfast. 07:00 – 16:00: Full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes at Amboseli (weather permitting). The park is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and is home to buffalo, impala, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.

Overnight: Ol Tukai Lodge

Day 3 – 07th September: Amboseli – Nairobi

06:00 – 07:00: Breakfast. 07:00 – 11:00: Extended morning game drive, then depart for Nairobi. Transfer to your hotel or onward arrangements.
